How it's calculated
- Fee
- = amount × (2.9% + extras) + $0.30
- Charge to receive X
- = (X + $0.30) ÷ (1 − rate)
Example
A $80 payment with a US card costs 80 × 2.9% + $0.30 = $2.62. With an international card that needs converting: 80 × (2.9% + 1.5% + 1%) + $0.30 = $4.62.
